Calle en Mijas, Paper Fine Art Print 8.75 x 12.2 in

Capture the pristine sunlight, quiet isolation, and striking architectural geometry of southern Spain with this spectacular Freddy Caston oil painting paper print. This masterful composition highlights Caston's remarkable ability to use sharp shadows, vast negative space, and deep color blocking to turn a traditional village alleyway into a clean, modern fine art statement.

The piece utilizes a brilliant forced perspective. The viewer looks down a winding village street, beautifully framed on the left by a heavy, slate-grey building facade featuring dark vertical iron window bars. The stark, blazing whitewashed plaster walls of the right-hand villas reflect the intense Mediterranean sun, casting clean, cool-toned dark shadows that stretch sharply across the tan cobblestone road. Guiding your eyes straight down the path, the alleyway leads to a historic white church tower rising proudly into a flawless, brilliant cobalt-blue sky.
